I have a good story to share showing you the importance of creating a brand image strategy.
My VIP client and now close friend Gayle Theodora Drake, CEO of Out of the Closets, a wardrobe and image consulting firm, and I team up with clients to upgrade their brand and image.
She approaches branding through their unique authentic style and wardrobe from the inside out, whereas, I focus on the emotional connection through positioning, content, strategy and congruency. This and more builds your know, like, and trust factor.
And what do people do when they feel that trust? Take an action and either follow you on social media, email you for an appointment, opt-in to your email list, and so on.
Gayle will be the style maven at the 2-day Accelerator on Feb 24-25, 2016 in Downtown Los Angeles, which you will have direct access and mentorship to upgrade your brand.
The quick story is Gayle and I partnered on Tuesday to up level the brand image of our client, Kyra Belle Johnson, lead role of Sophie in Mamma Mia! the world renowned musical, showing this week at the Pantages Theatre.
Kyra usually chooses casual, young adult edgy or comfy outfits to wear. Given Kyra’s media appearances and photos to be taken for her Pantages Instagram Takeover on Tuesday, we needed to develop a brand strategy for her.
Gayle did her style magic and I directed all the social media and press interview content to align with Kyra’s image and positioning. There was plenty more that went into our efforts with Kyra, but you get the gist of our message. We aspire for you to have an impact that builds your know, like and trust factor that converts to leads and revenues.
The photo above is a screenshot of Kyra’s posting on Instagram Tuesday (January 26) from behind the scenes with Gayle prepping her for the exciting opening day of Mamma Mia! (The tour travels for nine months to over 50 cities.)
Bottom line, Kyra’s response and engagement volume on IG and FB were terrific all day as she looked classy and trendy with an edge – and “on-brand.” She has a week of appearances while the show is in town so being congruent with her personality and positioning is crucial. (Kyra’s FB fan page)
I accompanied her backstage to meet the cast and take photos of her stage life for more social media content telling her story while developing her perception and positioning.
Important key phrase: storytelling.
I ask you, “How is your brand image and content? Is it congruent with who you are, how you want to be perceived, and is it monetized?”
This topic and expert mentorship plus plenty more are in store for you when you invest in yourself and time to attend the 2-Day Branding & Business Accelerator Feb 24-25 in Downtown LA.
